Waste Management MRF Division
Waste management division is committed to the design, construction and operation of:
- Solid waste sorting and treatment
- Organic waste fraction sorted from MSW digestion plants (biological treatment)
- Organic waste and green waste composting
- Waste to energy (Waste to energy Gasification and pyrolysis)
- Water treatment
BDT has the experience to design, construction and operation solid waste sorting plants in different sizes and specifications, the quality of the sorted materials and its marketing determine the optimum design. We have build sorting plants globally, Municipal solid waste (MSW) and industrial waste are the main feed for our projects and the recycled materials like papers, cardboards, all kinds of plastics, ferrous and non ferrous materials, glass, wood and rubber are the main products.
Organic waste materials which are sorted from the MSW or residual waste have to be sorted again before feeding to the biological treatment. Biological treatment or anaerobic digestion treatment technology, this technology is can be applied in Wet or dry digestion process. Organic waste to be feed to a mechanical process to remove all unwanted materials and dirty contamination associated with the organic waste which o be feed to the digestion process
Composting systems
Flat windrows are used in composting systems. A rotating drum is used for mixing. Composting systems are widely and specially for large scale capacity. For green waste

Aeration process is one of the updated and economic technologies The Aeration process is combined with plastic cover, the success of the process is depends upon some factors like air blowing flow and the temperature. BDT is dealing with one of the modern gasification process technology systems by transforming organic based material, including discarded material into useful energy (steam, electricity, etc.), and/or useful clean fuel (like Methanol, Ethanol, Synthetic Diesel, Hydrogen, etc.). The system relies on the RODECS® gasification system to break down all the organic material into its component gases "synthesis gas" or "syngas" The produced synthetic gas is treated according to the off take requirements, if the steam is required, then the synthetic gas is fully combusted, and the heat is used to generate the steam in the boiler. If the liquid alcohol is the target product, then the synthetic gas is further scrubbed, cleaned, conditioned, and stored prior to entering the Alcohol synthesis loop.
Water treatment division is specialized in sea and well water treatment, sewage water treatment and industrial water treatment. For sea and well water, BDT using Reverse osmosis (R.O.) technology to treat the sea and well water which is effective in removing all the dissolved solids and inorganic materials. R.O Membrane technology is simple and economic; BDT has the capability to design and supply different sizes and different specifications.
BDT proposed a state of art design technology to treat the sewage water, it is the biological treatment, aerobic biological treatment based on activated sludge process with tertiary treatment and disinfection facilities providing treated water in a drinking water quality for irrigation purposes and daily usage. The sewage sludge produced through the biological process can be used also, after drying, for agriculture purposes as fertilizer and improvement agent for sandy soil.
BDT using the anaerobic digestion technology in industrial waste water treatment, the anaerobic digestion has two important factors, PH and temperature, the anaerobic sludge is degrading the fatty acids to methane gas and carbon dioxide, the water from the digester is over flow to the aerobic process where air blowing is used in the presence of aerobic activated sludge, water from the aerobic process is over flow to the lamella to ensure removal of all sludge contaminations, sand filters are used to purify the water with adjusting the water PH.
